Rozetta P. Davis, 81, of Kenly, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2019 at Wilson Pines Nursing and Rehab Center in Wilson, NC. Born in Wilson County on August 19, 1938, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Parker and Frossie Bissette Parker.
Rozetta worked as a housekeeper for many years before her retirement. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Kenly Funeral Service followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Jasper Renfrow and Rev. Paul Dunham officiating. Interment will follow in the Kenly Cemetery.
Rozetta is survived by her daughter, Emily D. Ballance of Fremont; son, David Davis of Kenly; grandchildren, Grant Fromer (Jessica) and Samantha Balance; great-grandson, Wyatt Fromer; silbings, J.T. Parker (Shirley), Ray Parker (Verlie), Christine Brown, and Marie Harvey; a special niece, Dale Pope; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas “Tommy” Davis; and siblings, Clarence Parker (Rosa), James Parker, and Annie Sullivan.
