Rudean Rollins Bizzell, Selma, age 86, slipped peacefully into Jesus’ arms on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Rudean was born in Johnston County on November 14, 1931 to the late Thelma Mae Rollins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gentry Allen Bizzell, grandparents, Joel and Addie Rollins, Aunt Rhuemell Rollins Barrow, Uncles, Avery Rollins, Herman Rollins, Noah Rollins, Mark Rollins, and Doc Rollins. She worked as a cashier at Brad’s Red & White in Selma for over 30 years. Rudean held various other positions in the community, retiring from Wiggs’ Cleaners in Selma when it closed.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2018, in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with Mr. Luby C. Tyner, Jr. officiating. Burial following the service will be in Selma Memorial Gardens.

Surviving are her daughter Susan Bizzell Sult and husband Don; son, Joel Allen Bizzell; granddaughter, Elizabeth Bizzell Longenberger and husband Randall; great-granddaughter, Alicia Nicole Longenberger, all of Selma; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
