Clayton – Ruth Ann White, age 82 passed away Monday April 20, 2020 at Wake Med hospital in Raleigh. She was born in Somerset County, MD July 10, 1937 to the late Eldridge and Blanche Hewitt Ford. In addition to her parents Mrs. White is also preceded in death by a son, Harold “Hal” White III; Brothers, Elmer, Marion and Bill Ford; Sisters, Shirley, Dorothy Ford; A celebration of Life will be held at a later date this summer in Maryland. She is survived by husband of 65 years, Harold White Jr. of Deal Island, MD; Son, Kevin White and wife Susan of Garner; Daughter, Cynthia Gail Davis and husband Steve of Dagsboro, DE; Grandchildren, Angela Morse, Jessica Davis, Kaleb White, Sloan White, Kolby White; Great grandchildren, Davian Morse, Alex Morse, Carter Morse, Keegan White. Mrs. White was a member of Trinity Church in Salisbury, MD; she enjoyed reading books at the beach, bird watching, golfing, Boating and spending time with her family. Mrs. White was a member of the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, American Legion, and VFW. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to The American Cancer Society P.O.
