Sailor Faith Byrd

    Birth Date: 01/05/2021
    Deceased Date: 01/07/2021

Sailor Faith Byrd, daughter of Garrett and Kendra Crocker Byrd, went to be with Jesus on January 7, 2021. Sailor Faith will forever be our first daughter but she will also always be our miracle baby.

Sailor was an active little girl in the womb, and had a loving but silly personality. When she was born, she had a breathtaking cry, the prettiest deep blue eyes, and a smile that could light up a room. In the womb her nickname was chunky monkey because she had the cutest fat rolls. Sailor Faith had a head full of beautiful brown wavy hair. She had the softest skin and the cutest fingers and toes. As soon as she was born, we knew she was going to be an adventurous girl because she looked everywhere with those blue eyes. Everytime we held or touched her you could feel the love flowing off of her.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on January 13, 2021 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Hayes and Rev. Brad Lee officiating. The family will receive friends following the service on Wednesday.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her paternal grandparents, Doug and Melissa Byrd of Four Oaks; maternal grandparents, David and Crystal Crocker of Kenly; great grandparents, Weldon and Betty Crocker, Don and Helen Stewart, George and Debbie Strickland, and Rex Braswell; great great grandmothers, Alice Koger and Mildred Braswell; aunt and Godmother, Hayley Crocker; and aunt, Logan Byrd.

Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be sent to the Sailor Faith Byrd account at State Employees Credit Union, to help the family with medical expenses. Any remainder will be used to help start a program to help other parents going through the same situation.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at parrishfh.com.
