Clayton – Sandra Jones Peedin, age 71, passed away Thursday November 4, 2021 at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh. She was born in Johnston County on November 8, 1949 to the late Alonzo and Emma Inez West. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by husband, Jimmy “Jimbo” Peedin.
Funeral services will be held on Monday November 8, 2021 at Powhatan Free Will Baptist Church in Clayton at 2 PM. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 1 PM to 2 PM. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
She is survived by son, Adam Peedin and wife Ashley of Garner; daughter, Kelly Cormack and husband Rob of Clayton; grandchildren, Austin Peedin, Addison Peedin and Brodie Cormack; many cousins.
Mrs. Peedin was a faithful member of Powhatan Free Will Baptist Church in Clayton where she served as a treasurer and president of the lady’s auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
