Middlesex – Sarah Lou Creech Crocker, age 83, died Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her home. Born July 4, 1934 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Leon and Cinda Catherine Creech. She was preceded in death by her husband, M H Crocker; brothers, Ernest Creech, Thurman Creech, Leon Creech, Jr., W.D. Creech, and Odell Creech; and sisters, Robelia Narron and Audra Stephenson. Sarah was a member of Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church in Kenly.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2017 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Vernelson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday just prior to the service. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 in Mt. Zion FWB Church Cemetery in Kenly.
Surviving are her daughters, Sara Marie Crocker Hare and husband Bobby of Middlesex and Deborah Virginia Crocker Johnson and husband Raymond of Smithfield; grandchildren, Lisa Marie Hare of Kenly, Michael Casey Hare of Hillsborough, Travis Dempsey Daughtry and wife Kim of Smithfield, and Jarred Harvey Daughtry of Goldsboro; great grandchildren, James Wilbert Thornton and wife Nikki of Smithfield, Ginger Nicole Evans of Middlesex, Rachel Kasie Hare Mattress and husband Nolan of Knightdale, Heather Marie Evans of Kenly, Nathan and Cameron Daughtry of Smithfield, and Kaileigh Jane Nichole Daughtry of Goldsboro; and great great grandchild, James Liam Thornton of Smithfield.
