Coats, NC: Mrs. Shelby Jean Moore, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at her residence. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM-Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Rev. David Denton and Rev. Doug Howard will officiate. Burial will follow in Lamm-Sugg Family Cemetery, Benson, NC
Mrs. Moore was born on July 18, 1944 in Harnett County to the late Jessie and Maude Stephenson Faircloth. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Faircloth and Larry Faircloth. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and attended Remnant Worship Center and Taylor’s Chapel Church. She loved the Lord, flowers, birds, reading, and her family. She served her Lord for over 50 years, and was a Sunday School Teacher, and a caregiver to many.
Surviving include her husband of 59 years, Shelton Moore; daughters, Debra Denton and husband, David, and Connie Howard and husband, Doug; grandchildren, Brittany Howard, Andrew Howard and wife, Kassity and Scottie Horne; great-grandchildren, Dillon Horne and Layla Howard; brothers, Johnny Faircloth and wife, Sherry, Ray Faircloth and wife, Karen, and Kenneth Faircloth and wife, Shirley; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:30PM-2:45PM, Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
