Kenly – Shelia Ann Jones Cottle, age 49, died Sunday, September 2, 2018 in UNC Chapel Hill. Born June 19, 1969 in Johnston County she was a daughter of Faye Johnson Jones of Kenly and the late James Rupert Jones. Shelia was a loving mother, daughter, nana, aunt, sister, and friend. She loved the beach and the Carolina Tarheels.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Billie Lawson and Rev. Shane McAllister officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her son, Bradley R. Sullivan and wife Sarah Melissa Sullivan of Middlesex; daughters, Stephanie Peacock, Taylor Nicole Leagan, Victoria Faith Leagan, and Emily Grace Leagan, all of Kenly; significant other, Thomas Miller of Goldsboro; brother, Wayne Jones of Micro; sister, Susan Phillips and husband Johnnie of Kenly; and grandchildren, Alayna Faye Sullivan, Kaylee Lynn Sullivan, and Graham Carter Grady.
