Smithfield – Shirley Grey Eason Holloman, age 62, died Monday, July 3, 2017 in Johnston Health in Smithfield. Born November 2, 1954 in Johnston County she was a daughter of Betty Woodruff Creech of Smithfield and the late Marlon Anthony Eason. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, C.P. Creech. Shirley was a member of Stevens Chapel Baptist Church in Smithfield and also attended Holt’s Pond Church of God of Prophecy in Princeton.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Earp officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Rickie Holloman of Smithfield; daughter, Rebecca Davis and husband Marshall of Smithfield; sisters, Velma Runyon and husband Sammy and Susie Robinson and husband Leonard; brother, Tony Eason and wife Tammy; granddaughters, Karis Oliver and Avery Oliver; and many nieces and nephews.
