Mrs. Shirley Haskett Jones, age 86, of HWY 301 S. passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM, Friday, March 12, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks, NC. Rev. Darren Brisco will officiate. Entombment will follow in Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Benson, NC.
Mrs. Jones was born in Johnston County, NC on December 3, 1934 to the late Clyde Vance and Maybell Haskett. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Lassiter, Frances Barnes, Lois Daughtry, and brothers, Carol Haskett, and a Norman Haskett. Mrs. Jones retired from the Eaton Corporation in Selma, NC with 30 years of service. She was also a homemaker and member of Unity Advent Christian Church, Four Oaks, NC.
Surviving include her husband of 66 years, Ralph Glenn Jones; son, Tracy Glenn Jones and wife, Amy; daughter, Cindy Jones Morgan and husband, Kelvin; grandchildren, Brooke Morgan, Emily Morgan and Hayden Jones; great-grandson, Aaiden Partin; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the committal service on Friday at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Benson, NC.
