Dunn, NC: Mrs. Shirley Young Lee, age 77, of 3167 Jonesboro Road, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh. Funeral Service will be 2:00PM, Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Weaver. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Benson, NC.
Mrs. Lee was born on September 14, 1942 in Harnett County to the late Ernest and Lessie Webb Young. She was preceded in death by her sister, Leta McLamb. Mrs. Lee retired from BB&T Bank, formerly known as United Carolina Bank. She also helped with the family business Lee Furniture and was a member of Grove Presbyterian Church, Dunn.
Surviving include her husband of 58 years, Larry H. Lee, Sr.; children, Kimberly L. Moore and husband, Dennis of Dunn; Larry H. Lee, Jr. and wife, Jerri of Bunnlevel; and Ernest Shaun Lee and husband, Robert of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Tiffany Nicole Teats and husband, Raymond of Benson; Krystal Gregory and husband, John of Raleigh; Matthew Moore and wife, Dr. Morgan Moore of Benson; Jordan Lee of Bunnlevel; and Alivia Waldrop-Lee of Atlanta; four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM-1:45 PM Saturday, March 21, 2020 prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.

Flowers are welcomed; however, the family suggest memorials to Grove Presbyterian Church or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
