Gastonia – Stephanie Louise Wall McLaurin, age 43, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April, 30, 2021, in Caromont Hospital in Gastonia. She was born on November, 21, 1977, a daughter of Tony and Peggy Wall in Johnston County.
She was a member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church in Gastonia. Stephanie was a teacher and she loved all of her many students she taught during her years as an educator. She loved working with Samaritans Purse and the Operation Christmas Child program each year, it brought her so much joy. She was a loving and caring person and everyone who knew her loved to be around her. She loved taking care of her husband Scott and she loved riding motorcycles with him on long trips and charity rides. She loved going to the beach and collecting shells, and she loved butterflies. She loved taking pictures and making memories, she was a very sentimental person. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 3, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with the burial to follow. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 2, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Scott McLaurin, mother, Peggy Wall, mother-in-law, Sharon McLaurin of Greensboro, father-in-law, Hugh McLaurin of Greensboro, best friends, Brooke and Jaclyn, her fur critters and all the children who she has impacted during her life.
