Smithfield, NC: Mr. Stephen Patrick Horton, age 42, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM-Monday, August 30, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Burial will follow in Dixon Family Cemetery in Benson.
Stephen was born on March 18, 1979 in Johnston County. He was a jack of all trades when it came to construction. Stephen enjoyed wrestling, his cats, and especially his nieces and nephews.
Surviving are his mother, Patricia Roberts and husband, JR of Dunn; father, Jimmie Carol Horton of Smithfield; daughter, Morgan Haley of Goldsboro; brothers and sisters, Ray Roberts and wife, Brandy of Lillington, Jeremy Roberts of Dunn, Jessica Haskins and husband, Eric of Lillington, Joseph Earl Horton and wife, Ashley of Smithfield; nieces and nephews, Nicholas Roberts, Johnny Roberts, III, Levi Roberts, Wyatt Roberts, Matilda Roberts, Epiphany Haskins, Athena Haskins; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 1:45PM to 2:45PM prior to the service on Monday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Face coverings are not required, but are kindly recommended for all services.
