Selma – Stephen Wallace Woodruff, age 62, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 6, 2021 at his home in Selma. He was born in Johnston County on December 9, 1958 to Clifton and Sylvia Horne Woodruff. He is preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, Jodie Woodruff and Inez Boswell Woodruff, Cleveland “Bud” Horne and Niecy H. Horne.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family will be receiving visitors at Mr. Clifton Woodruff’s house 598 Woodruff Rd. Selma, NC.
In addition to his father, Mr. Stephen is survived by son, Stephen Woodruff II and wife Krista of Selma; sister, Darlene Woodruff of Morehead City.
Mr. Woodruff was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting clay pigeons, golfing, riding motorcycles and karaoke. He graduated from Atlantic Christian College in Wilson, NC with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science with honors.
