Thel Howard Langdon, age 82, of Four Oaks passed away on June 17, 2017 at the SECU Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. Born in Johnston County on February 19, 1935, he was the son of the late Paul Hampton and Sally Byrd Langdon. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Langdon. Mr. Langdon served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He has attended Hopewell Free Will Baptist Church for many years.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with Rev. Duane Casey and Rev. Lewis Godwin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 – 11 am, just prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife, Jean Parker Langdon, his daughter, Karen Langdon Beasley of Clayton; his brothers, Carl Langdon of Four Oaks and Hampton Langdon of Kernersville; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Morgan and Meghan Beasley.
