Theodore Roosevelt Bass III, 55, passed away Wednesday morning at his home.
Theodore was born in Wayne County on March 11, 1963 to the late Theodore Roosevelt Bass Jr, and Shirley Carolyn Brown Bass. He was married to the late Debra Corbett Sullivan Bass. Theodore was a member of the Lucama United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Kenly Funeral Service, followed by a service to celebrate his life at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Joe Stallings officiating. Burial will follow in the Eureka Cemetery.
Theodore is survived by his son Matthew Brantley; granddaughter, Alyssa Brantley; sister Cheryl Bass Raper and husband Van; and brother Timmie Bass.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Brantley, and a brother Darryl Bass.
