Clayton – Thomas Junior Dixon, age 78, died Friday, November 08, 2019 in the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born July 18, 1941 in Wallace, NC he was a son of the late Thomas Byrd and Emma Lane Dixon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Dixon; and son, Jonathan Dixon. Thomas was a member of Johnston County Wildlife Association. He was avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and camping.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00pm on Sunday November 10, 2019 with Pastor Billy Lawson officiating. Burial will be conducted at 10:00am on Monday November 11 in Knollwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday.
Surviving are his daughters, Michelle Jones and husband Mike of Goldsboro, and Susie Garner and husband Edward of Wilson’s Mills; son, Clifton Faircloth of Greensboro; brother, David Dixon and wife Debbie of Dudley; sister, Macey Sanderson of Clayton; and grandchildren, Ashley McElroy and husband Ethan and Bradley Casey.
