Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Vida Mae Hill Massengill, age 103, of Dowling Park, Florida passed away Tuesday at Advent Christian Retirement Center in Dowling Park, Florida. Funeral Service will be
1:00 PM Tuesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel, Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. John Harper. Burial will be at Hills of The Neuse Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Massengill was born on October 25, 1914 in Johnston County to the late Willis Jasper and Lucy Bertha Langdon Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Massengill; sisters, Annie Barbour, Blanche Jones, Florence Massengill, Eloise Barbour and Florine Creech; brothers, Willard Hill and Willis Jay Hill. Mrs. Massengill was a sales clerk in retail and was a member of Bixler Memorial Advent Christian Church.
Surviving are a sister, Myrtle Barbour of High Point, several nieces and nephews.
A viewing with family will be held 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Tuesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
