Dunn, NC: Mrs. Vira Ellen Bryant, age 85, of Beale Street, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at her residence. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Burial will follow in Harnett Devotional Gardens, Dunn, NC.
Mrs. Bryant was born on July 8, 1935 in Johnston County to the late Willie and Lucy Mae Capps Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Albert Bryant, sons, James Ray Fisher and Roy Lee Fisher, and a daughter, Lisa Woodall. Mrs. Bryant was a retired daycare worker and was also a homemaker.
Surviving include her son, Charles Fisher and wife, Lori of Surf City; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Louise Chamberlain of Benson; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 1:30PM-2:45PM, Thursday, July 30, 2020 prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson and other times at the home.
