Roxboro – Virginia Lynn Burch Barbour, age 71, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at her home. Born June 1, 1946 in Person County she was a daughter of the late James T. and Lessie Wrenn Burch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Needham Harold Barbour; and sister, Frankie Long. Virginia was a member of Somerset Baptist Church in Roxboro.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Gearhart officiating. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Friday morning just prior to the service.
Surviving are her stepdaughter, Tammy Jones and husband Tracy of Clayton; grandchildren, Brandon Beasley of Nashville, TN and Logan Beasley of Smithfield; special friend, Sandra Hicks; and feline companions, Dee Dee and Snowball.
