Selma – Virginia Dare Taylor Massey, age 90, died December 15, 2017 in UNC Johnston Health in Clayton. Born July 22, 1927 in Wilson County she was a daughter of the late Connie and Elizabeth Rose Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Harold Massey; daughters, Donna Winterberg and Connie Webb; sisters, Margie Gardner, Bertie Williams, and Frances Taylor; and brothers, James Taylor, Pete Taylor, and Bobby Taylor.
Surviving are her daughter, Frankie Savage and husband Charles of Oriental; sisters, Becky Cooke of Wilson and Peggy Coleman of Kenly; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
