Micro – Milton Wayne Evans, age 77, passed away Wednesday April 14, 2021 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. He was born in Johnston County on August 8, 1943 to the late Henry Milton and Etta Creech Evans. In addition to his parents, Mr. Evans is also preceded in death by wife, Nancy Elaine Evans; sister, Lucile Lewis; brothers, Alvin and Gene Evans.
A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Sunday April 18, 2021 at 2 PM. The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home from 6 PM to 8 PM on Saturday April 17, 2021.
Mr. Evans is survived by a daughter, Lori Collier of Princeton; a son, Gary Evans and wife Dawn of Micro; grandchildren, Justin Collier, Miranda Evans, Allyson Evans; special friend, Sandra Pearce. Mr. Evans was a member of Pleasant Plain Free Will Church.
