William Henry “Billy” Woodard, Jr., age 93, died January 16, 2021 in Wilson Medical Center in Wilson. Billy was the son of the late W.H. and Bettie Woodard. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Wilbert and Johnny Woodard; and sister, Nancy Clarke. He was a life-long member of the Pine Level community and a member of the Pine Level Free Will Baptist Church, a retired N.C. DOT employee, retired Pine Level Fire Department, and a member of Selma Masonic Lodge #320.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Crocker Cemetery in Pine Level.
Surviving are his wife of 72 years, Milton Rose “Jackie” Woodard; daughters, Ellen V. “Vickie” Barham and husband Newton, Luann R. Woodard, and Billie Kay Twigg and husband Mike; grandchildren, Alison B. Parrish, William Barham, Kaitlyn Twigg Haislet and husband Arthur, and Madison Twigg Edwards and husband Tyler; and great grandchildren, Austin Parrish and Christina Parrish.
