Selma – Chief Warrant Officer II, William Johnson Jr., passed away on Sunday, March 14th, 2021, at the tender age of 53. Born January 31, 1968, a son of Carol and William Johnson Sr. in White Plains NY.
He was preceded in death by his father William Johnson Sr. William was a graduate of Seaside High School Class of 1986, he went on to enlist in the U.S Army, where he served twenty years, in the special intelligence division, and retired as a Chief warrant officer II. He also completed his Associates degree from Central Texas College. William was awarded a development ribbon (3), army service ribbon, and overseas service ribbon (4). William was a member of the Freemasons.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at noon in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, followed by a burial service in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and visitors one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m., and following the service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Johnson residence.
He is survived by his mother, Carol M. Johnson of NY, his loving wife, Karen E. Johnson NC, sister, Chantel D. Washington (husband Joey) of GA, daughters, Mason Y. Johnson of FL, Courtney J. Johnson of GA, step children, Iyonna S. Hill and (husband Shawn) of CA, Tahij I. Roberson, Fasaad A. Roberson, his amazing grandchildren, Khloe, age 1, Johnathan, age 4, La’Nai, age 4, Kamryn, age 13, Kai age 17, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends, who loved him dearly.
