Selma – Willis Daniel “Pee Wee” Lassiter, age 67, died Sunday, May 6, 2018 in SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born April 2, 1951 in Johnston County he was a son of the late James Garland and Eva Lassiter. He was preceded in death by his brothers, William Robert Lassiter, James Lassiter, and John Frank Lassiter. Mr. Lassiter was a member of Wilsons Mills Church of God.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Waters officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. just prior to the service. A private family burial will be held in Selma Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Lou Price Lassiter; sons, Willis Daniel Lassiter, Jr. of Clayton, and Anthony Wayne Sullivan and wife Cindy of Four Oaks; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Sullivan of Pine Level; Sisters, Linda Sue Lassiter, Eva Larue Rogers, Judy Carol Braswell, Emma Jean Barnes, and Ruth Merl Parrish; Summer Wind Sullivan, Kymberly Lassiter, Ashley Lassiter, and Daniel Lassiter; and two great grandchildren, Ky and Kimora Jackson.
