A Johnston County home sustained extensive damage after being struck by a car Thursday night.
The crash happened around 7:30 PM on Bakers Chapel Road at Brogden Road in the Brogden community east of Smithfield.
The driver of the car was injured and transported to the hospital. No one inside the home was hurt.
The NC Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident and has not released any additional details. Contributed photos
