“We’re thrilled to join the Clayton community and bring Outback Steakhouse’s bold, unforgettable flavors to the neighborhood,” said Brandon Campbell, Proprietor of the new location. “We can’t wait to welcome guests in for a delicious meal and to experience our fun, Aussie spirit.”

The new 4,694-square-foot Outback Steakhouse features a modern design with a spacious dining room and large Great Barrier Reef-inspired bar area. For a local tie, a piece of art showcases a koala floating on the Neuse River with the North Carolina flag seen in the reflection of the koala’s sunglasses. The piece was inspired by the rich history of the river and offers a familiar feel to guests.

Outback Steakhouse will donate up to $5,000 of grand opening net sales proceeds to Kiwanis Clayton, an organization focused supporting children and young adults through various programs and fundraisers, and Red Barn Rescue, a volunteer rescue dedicated to saving dogs from North Carolina shelters.

The new Outback Steakhouse in Clayton is located at 11756 Clayton Boulevard (US 70).

  1. “Bold forgettable flavors” alright! It’s all the same at these restaurants the food is mediocre and the service is never good but the prices are high and God forbid you order takeout. If you do order take out please check your order before you leave cause it’s gonna be wrong.
