CLAYTON – A Johnston County homeowner discovered a break-in Monday afternoon. It happened on Sunray Drive near Clayton.
The 56 year-old victim said while they were away from home, between 12:30pm and 4:00pm, someone forcibly entered their residence through a back door.
The suspect or suspects stolen $10,226 in items including a PlayStation 5, jewelry, collectible coins, and a $4,000 baseball card collection.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
