Two people were arrested at the scene of a break-in Tuesday afternoon. One of the suspect’s was the victims son.
Sheriff’s deputies said they were called to a break-in around 2:00 PM in the 7000 block of Elevation Road. They arrived on the scene to find a barn had been burglarized and two suspects were still on the scene.
The victim’s identified one of the suspects as their son, Daniel Shane Stutts, 38, of Benson who was not allowed on the property. Stutts allegedly admitted to deputies he committed the break-in. Officers also said they found drugs and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
Stutts was charged with breaking and entering, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
A second person, Michael Trism Willis, 20, of the 11000 block of Highway 96 South, Dunn was charged with felony conspiracy to breaking and entering a building.
