SMITHFIELD – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office identified two burglary suspects after surveillance images were shared with the public.
On April 4, authorities said a security camera captured two people arrive at a home on Hill Road and attempt to break into a home. They were not successful in gaining entry. Before leaving they allegedly stole hand tools from outside the residence. The tools were valued at $100.
After the images of the unknown suspects were shared with the public, callers reportedly gave investigators their names.
On April 16, William Alvin Hill Jr., 56, of S. Maple Street, Kenly and Latonya Nicole Hill, 42, of N. 12th Street, Smithfield were charged with felony attempting to break or enter a building. Latonya Hill was also charged with misdemeanor larceny.
Both suspects were held on a $10,000 bond.
Neither one of these two look like they’ve even done meth.
high inflation = high crime. The cycle continues.
I’m glad that someone recognized them. Dope heads always stealing other people’s stuff that they worked hard for. Keep then in jail.
