Monique Clark of Smithfield has been appointed to her first term on the Smithfield Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission.
Clark, from S. Vermont Street, recently relocated from Philadelphia to Smithfield. In Philadelphia, she sat on two recreation advisory councils.
With the appointment, three vacancies still remain on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission – 1 in-town member and 2 high school student positions. There are two vacancies on the Appearance Commission, 3 positions on the Historic Properties Commission, and 1 ETJ alternate vacancy on the Planning Board.
