Partnership For Children Of Johnston County Welcomes New Board Chair, Board Member

Regina Smith is the new Board Chair for Partnership for Children of Johnston County.

Partnership for Children of Johnston County has elected a new Board Chair, Regina Smith.  Regina succeeds Jason Hardy who accepted a new job and relocated to Virginia.

Smith is the Chief Financial Officer at KS Bank in Smithfield and has been a member of the Partnership for Children Board of Directors since September of 2012.

Katie Lewis was also elected to the Board. Katie is the Director of Preschool Education with Johnston County Public Schools and has worked closely with the Partnership for Children and the NC Pre-Kindergarten program for several years.

Katie Lewis has been elected to the Board at Partnership for Children of Johnston County.

“For 11 years I’ve had the privilege to work with the finest Board of Directors in Johnston County.” says Dwight Morris, Executive Director. “We continue to experience strong and committed leadership to the goals and vision of the Partnership from all our members.  I’m excited to work with Regina Smith as our Board Chair and have Katie Lewis join us in our mission to prepare all our young children for success in life.”

The Partnership’s Board of Directors is comprised of individuals from business and education communities, and human services organizations in Johnston County. The Board provides counsel and guidance in the direction and operation of the Partnership as well as raise awareness of the Partnership’s services to the communities of Johnston County.
