Pickup Overturns On Highway 301

The State Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle accident this afternoon (Wednesday) on Highway 301 just north of Benson.  The wreck was reported at 1:22pm.

A pickup truck ran off the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.  Three people were in the truck. They were checked out at the scene by Johnston County EMS. No one required transport to the hospital.

The Benson Fire Department responded and assisted with traffic control.
