SMITHFIELD – The Johnston County Board of Education, at their August 2023 meeting, unanimously approved the reappointment of Rhonda Scott, Debra Avery and Tamara Brock to the Pine Level Elementary School Advisory Council.
They will serve three-year terms from 2023 to 2026.
This is what is wrong with education. How can paying for and even have this “Pine Level Elementary School Advisory Council” contribute to educating children. What a waste of resources !!
I don’t believe these are paid appointments. These are community members who normally meet with school staff about improvement and community events that the school might be interested in.
