Thieves stole a $10 frozen pizza and a $1 dollar bag of Doritos chips during a break-in discovered Monday on Ray Drive just east of Smithfield.
Deputies said the break-in occurred sometime between Friday and Monday. In addition to taking the food items, a vacuum cleaner valued at $300 was also removed from the residence.
There were no signs of forcible entry into the home. A detective has been assigned to the case.
