Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed At Gunpoint

It was four against one

One person has been charged and three others are sought in the robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Dunn.

The robbery took place at 11:51 p.m. Wednesday at the 300 block of South Little Avenue. The delivery driver said he was robbed at gunpoint by four unidentified black men, one of whom brandished a firearm.

The victim was robbed of $15 in cash, food and a cell phone. While en-route to Little Avenue, Lt. C. Jackson saw a man matching the description of a suspect that was provided by Harnett County Communications, according to a Dunn Police press release.

“After further investigation, it was determined that the suspect, later identified as Zachary Williams of Dunn, was one of the perpetrators of the robbery,” the release said.

Mr. Williams was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a handgun by a minor. Mr. Williams is being held in the Harnett County Jail under a $150,000 bond.
