Pizza Delivery Driver Shot And Robbed

CLAYTON – Police have arrested a suspect in the early morning robbery and shooting of a pizza delivery driver. Around 12:30am Sunday, Clayton Police were dispatched to the area of Browning Court to a report of gunshots being fired.

While responding to that call, Clayton officers were also dispatched to Domino’s Pizza on US 70 Business for a report a person had been shot.

It was determined the victim had been shot on Browning Court while attempting to deliver a pizza.

Jahlin Devonte Moore, 21, of Clayton was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

Moore was placed under a $100,000 secured bond.

The victim was transported to Wake Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The case remains under investigation.

  1. Prayers for the driver and hopes for a full recovery. As far as the POS that shot him, my wish is he rot in jail for the rest of his life. To do this at the age of 21, he will never amount to anything! A total looser.
