Police: Additional Victim Comes Forward Reporting Sexual Offense

CLAYTON – Ten additional charges have been filed against a Clayton man after an additional minor female victim came forward reporting sexual offense allegations.

James Louis Martin, age 47, of McGuire Lane, Clayton was arrested earlier this month for reportedly exposing himself at a community pool to girls ages 9 and 10. The complaint also involved an inappropriate relationship with an 8 year-old girl. The allegations reportedly occurred in 2021 on McGuire Lane and on Lynshire Avenue at the Chandler’s Ridge Community Pool.

After Martin’s arrest was reported in the media, another minor came forward reporting crimes that allegedly occurred from 2014 to 2018 at the victim’s home. Martin was charged May 17 with five counts of indecent liberties with a child and five counts of first-degree sexual offense with a child.

Clayton Police said James Martin was charged by the Holliston Massachusetts Police Department with indecent exposure in 2013. The indecent exposure occurred at Pleasure Point which is located at Lake Winthrop in Holliston. The indecent exposure involved children. The charge was dismissed in 2014.
