Police Investigate New Years Day Shooting

Selma Police are investigating the first shooting of 2017. It happened around 2:15am Sunday on West Elizabeth Street.

One person was shot and rushed to the hospital. At last report the victim was in serious condition at Wake Medical Center.

Police have not released any additional details saying the investigation is still ongoing. Photos by John Payne
