Two people were arrested on prostitution-related charges around midnight Thursday.
A Smithfield police officer on patrol located a pickup truck in the Oakland Cemetery on North Street with two individuals inside, according to Police Captain T.S. Choe.
After questioning the two individuals, 40 year-old Tara Renae Reynolds of North Street, Smithfield was charged with prostitution and trespassing.
Jeffrey Linell Buie, 63, of Second Avenue, Smithfield was charged with soliciting prostitution and trespassing. Both were given a $1,500 bond pending a May 11th court date on the misdemeanor offenses.
