Police Looking To Identify Owners Of Stolen Packages
CLAYTON – Over the past couple of weeks, Clayton Police received numerous reports of delivered packages being stolen off porches. Officers were able to canvass the areas and review surveillance footage. Police were able to identify a suspect vehicle being used in multiple thefts.
On Friday, December 1, Clayton Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Brittany Drive in Clayton and discovered numerous opened packages, which contained several stolen items from residences in the Clayton area.
Sedjro Henri Somadjagbi, age 22, of Clayton, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of larceny and possession of stolen property.
Police Chief Greg Tart said numerous residences were identified that these packages were stolen from and contact was made with those owners. However, numerous other items, and the location they were stolen from, remain unidentified.
