Police Need Help Identifying Serial Pizza Thief

Clayton Police need the public’s help to catch a serial pizza thief. In the security footage shown below, a suspect is shown sneaking out of the bushes about to rob a pizza delivery driver of his pizzas from Domino’s Pizza in Clayton. This happened on Wednesday night around 11:20PM in the cul-de-sac of E. Webber Lane in Riverwood Athletic Club. It was all caught on camera by a neighbor’s security cameras.

The suspect sneaked up as the driver was at the front door, he brandished a handgun, demanded the pizzas, took them and then ran off into the woods toward the neighborhood’s walking trails.

Police also determined a Papa John’s delivery driver in Clayton had also been robbed three times in the past three weeks in this same area. No gun was reported in those incidents, but unfortunately, the three drivers failed to report any of these events to the Clayton Police Department and officers were unaware this was an on-going issue.

In each incident, a male calls and orders pizzas using a random address on E. Webber Lane and then waits to rob the driver of his pizza warming bag.

The suspect is described as a 16 to 21-year-old black male, approximately 6 ft. tall, 140 pounds, with a skinny build and possible short to medium braids. He is sometimes wearing a homemade mask cut out of cloth and sometimes doesn’t appear to be wearing shoes.
