Police are investigating a break-in discovered Thursday night at a West Smithfield church.
Smithfield Police were dispatched to Whitley Memorial Church at 300 Wilson’s Mills Road around 9:15pm. Officers discovered a storage barn at the church had been entered and 6 camping tents and a coffee pot had been stolen. The items were valued at $700. Damage to the barn was estimated at $40.
No arrests have been made.
