The Garner Police Department will hold two community meetings to discuss body-worn cameras on Wednesday, March 22nd. The first meeting will be held at Noon and the second meeting at 6 pm at the police station at 912 7th Ave. The purpose of the open-forum meetings are to get feedback on the department’s body-worn camera program.
The Police Department hopes to identify citizen concerns about the program so that the department can address those concerns as much as possible prior to implementation. Public feedback will help shape the Police Department’s final body-worn camera policy.
