Police Want All Vehicles Removed From Market Street Before Thursday’s Christmas Parade

Smithfield Police want everyone to be able to view the annual Smithfield Christmas Parade this Thursday, December 12th beginning at 7:00PM.  Especially kids hoping to get a close look at Santa Claus.

Smithfield Police and the Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation are requesting all vehicles to be removed from Market Street in Downtown Smithfield no later than 6:00PM Thursday.

Any vehicle left on Market Street between Second Street and Sixth Street will be towed at the owner’s expense, according to a statement from police.
