Princeton Fire Department Names First Full-Time Chief

PRINCETON — The Princeton Volunteer Fire Department (PVFD) has reached a major milestone with the appointment of its first-ever full-time Fire Chief Adam Stanley. Chief Stanley officially began his new role on November 1, 2025.

With more than 30 years of experience in emergency services, Stanley brings deep knowledge and leadership to Princeton’s growing fire department. He will oversee all aspects of the department’s operations—both paid and volunteer—as PVFD continues to expand its services to meet the needs of the Princeton and Boon Hill communities.

In his new position, Chief Stanley will manage the department’s daily operations, budget, and personnel, while also supporting volunteers who remain a vital part of the team. Among his early priorities will be guiding the department through major upcoming projects, including the remodeling of Station 1, set to begin in January 2026, and the department’s transition to 24-hour staffing.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chief Stanley to the team,” said PVFD Board President Wayne Worley. “His wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience make him the ideal person to lead our department as we evolve to meet the needs of our growing community.”

Stanley’s long career in emergency services includes leadership roles in fire suppression, rescue operations, emergency medical services, and disaster response. His focus on teamwork, planning, and efficiency has earned him recognition throughout the region.
