PRINCETON – Authorities are investigating a weekend armed robbery at Hardee’s located at 101 Smith Street in Princeton.
Police Chief Michael Smiley said the lone suspect entered Hardee’s around 6:40am Sunday and displayed a firearm. The gunman took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.
The suspect is described as an unknown age black male, 5 foot 10, 160 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, gray pants, and white mask.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Princeton Police at 919-936-8171.
On December 2, 2013, a suspect tried to rob the same Hardee’s. After brandishing a pistol and pointing it at an employee, there was a brief scuffle. The suspect tried to fire the gun but it did not discharge. The suspect ran out of the lobby door as employees fled out the back door.
So many jobs available and trash like this has to pull crap like this. God forbid they should try working to make a buck instead of stealing it. I hope they find this POS! Too bad there was not someone in there with a gun to take him out!
Seems to me working odd jobs for a day would equal a Hardee’s cash drawer on Sunday afternoon in this digital world where little cash is used. Maybe try checking out parking lots B4 choosing your bounty….lol
