A Princeton High School student was injured during an assault on campus. The 17 year-old student reportedly sustained minor injuries after being assaulted in a hallway at the school last Thursday.
A school resource officer said the victim was struck in the face with a closed fist causing injury.
Another Princeton High student was charged with the assault. The name of the suspect was not released because they are under age 16.
The juvenile suspect could face possible suspension under Johnston County Public Schools Code of Conduct policy. No other students were involved.
