A 60 year-old man was arrested Monday on allegations he sexually abused a juvenile male relative 4-1/2 years ago.
Edward Charles Cowdrey Jr. of Toler Road, Princeton had been under investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Social Services since the incident was reported on January 23rd.
Cowdrey was charged with first degree sex offense with a child and taking indecent liberties with a minor. He allegedly admitted to the allegations while speaking with an officer on Monday.
Cowdrey was booked into the Johnston County Jail under a $140,000 bond.
