Princeton Police Receive Grants

Princeton Police LogoThe Princeton Police Department has received two grants from the NC Governor’s Crime Commission. 

During the 2015-16 fiscal year, the Princeton Police Department will receive $14,985 as part of an Officer Safety First grant to install three in-car cameras.

A second grant totaling $29,800 will allow the agency to buy four car radios and 3 portable radios compatible with the new P-25 radio system Johnston County is converting to in the near future, according to Police Chief Tyrone Sutton.
